(More customer reviews)I just received the rail system yesterday. I have a much older A5 and it slipped on perfectly. I was a bit worried due to the review about having to maybe shave some metal, however, that was not my experience. I was actually impressed at the ease of installation. The quality was, for the most part, as expected. The rails themselves are removable which is a bonus if you plan on painting you gun 2 tone. However, they are plastic. I don't know what the real opsgear 416 ones are made of but if that's the only difference, its well worth it for the price. The plastic is quality and shouldn't break easily.
The only 3 negatives I have assessed thus far is that the top rail is not a single unit, and they did not align up perfectly where the met. A simple tightening of the screws should fix this. Which brings me to the second minor issue. All of the allen key fitting on the system are metric. Not a huge problem really, just that everything else on your A5 takes a standard(American)key. Lastly, the system I received is not an exact match to the system illustrated. Look towards the front and see that (in the picture) there is hole in which for you to slide you barrel. Mine did not come like this, the front is all open like the one you see here: [...] This was the most upsetting as it was the decisive factor in my choice to buy this one. Would have been 4 stars if not for that.
