It should be obvious that at this very low price you are buying a reproduction 1860 Army Revolver. In fact Denix has been making reproductions for a number of years.
This item is made in Spain it works and feels like the real thing.....except it does not fire. The trigger double cocks and the cyclinder turns properly and the tamping device works like the real thing. The quality of the handles and the simulated grey antiquing is great for a reproduction. The workmanship on the metal is more than acceptable for such a low price.
I recommend it for anyone wanting the look and feel of the real thing without the danger of a black powder or cartridge weapon. It is a piece of art and not a toy.

Over 150,00 of these Double Deringers were made in the period 1866 - 1935, and it is possibly the best known Deringer-style pistol. Its exceptional popularity is illustrated by the fact that it remained on the market for 69 years. Ladies of the West could hide them in their purse, riverboat gamblers could conceal them for ready availability and any individual in need of security could carry the little gun unnoticed. Many variations in finish and decoration were made, and this non-firing replica, in an engraved and plated finish, represents one of the the more expensive models
