(More customer reviews)After receiving this barrel, I tested the stock barrel and this one in with to see if it was worth the upgrade. With the standard barrel I shot ~30 shots and there were a good deal of curves and short shots with some paintballs broken in the barrel in the process. Then I replaced the barrel with this one and started firing. Each shot flew in a straight line without a noticeable arc. Firing was much quieter and speed and accuracy was greatly improved. A few things this barrel has going for it is:
Price, without a doubt this barrel is competitively priced to be an inexpensive upgrade.
Second is accuracy, this barrel increases range and maintains a consistent shot pattern out of the PB marker.
Third is the variety of paint it accepts. Unlike the Flatline and other specialty barrels this barrel will shoot cheap and expensive paint alike. If you do have a round that breaks in the barrel you can shoot it clean.
Next is ease of maintenance, this barrel screw into the same receiver as the standard Tippman barrels so there isn't a need to field strip your marker like the Flatlines to remove and clean. This barrel is also aluminum and has a ceramic coating to prevent slowdown/breakage of paintballs in the barrel
Overall I have been very satisfied with this barrel. It's obviously that it is well crafted and the improve accuracy add to it value. For the price it is the cheapest upgrade you can do for your marker to increase it's usefulness.
