(More customer reviews)The Vents Helix Thermal is a great mask. My primary criteria to judge which mask to buy were field of vision and anti-fog-ability (I invented a word). The field of vision in the Helix is perfect - total peripheral vision, none of that tunnel vision like other masks. The dual-pane thermal lens resists fog like Barry Bonds resists a steroid probe. You can run around all day in the woods and never have your vision impaired by foggy goggles.
The Helix also gives full coverage of your face and ears, which is pretty crucial, as anyone who's been shot in the ear will attest. It's lightweight, has a narrow profile, and doesn't slip off while you're diving behind a bunker.
As an added bonus, the lens is extremely easy to change. You just flip a couple of knobs at the temple and pop the lens off. It takes less than 30 seconds to remove the lens and the same to replace it.
I have no idea why this mask are is so cheaply priced. It's got the same features as much more expensive masks. So unless you're like a woman who will pay $500 for a purse just because it's got a designer name on it, buy this mask and keep some extra change in your pocket.
