(More customer reviews)First off, let me say that I am not a gamer and also that this is my first airsoft gun. I actually bought this gun from another supplier. This gun is constructed mostly of what appears to be a very high grade of plastic, except for the barrel, front sight, magazine, the little hop-up door and the innards which are metal. The gun looks very realistic - looks just like my brother's real M-4 although the barrel on his is a couple of inches longer and obviously not orange on the end. The gun weighs 6 lbs, 9.5 ounces with the magazine full of .25g bb's. The only complaints I would offer is that the rear sight has about 1/16" of play side to side (I ended up putting a red dot scope with a riser in place of the handle and sight) and the rear stock pipe has a bit of wiggle in it - it should be totally solid. The gun makes a fair amount of noise - from 100 feet you know a full automatic gun is being fired, so if you want stealth this gun is not for you. The gun has a very rapid rate of fire and at 50 feet I get a grouping of about 1 1 /2 inches and a fairly good grouping at 75 feet. I can keep the bb's in about a 1 foot area on full auto at 150 feet. Shooting .25g bb's it will almost completely penetrate 3/8" cardboard at 50 feet, and in fact sometimes does. With .2g bb's it doesn't penetrate 3/8" cardboard quite as far as the .25's but will still break through the cardboard, which was a surprise to me - I thought the .2's going faster, would penetrate further. On full automatic it will totally destroy even the 3/8" cardboard. No jams so far with about 2000 bb's. I am pleased with the gun and I give this gun 4 stars - deducted one star for the rear sight and the wiggle in the rear stock pipe which really don't seem to affect the operation of the gun. I would certainly recommend.
