(More customer reviews)I like the blowback on this pistol. It simulates the recoil of a real pistol. The slide even locks back when the magazine clip is empty. The CO2 loads into the magazine rather than into the back of the grip like with some airsoft pistols. I think this makes for a better design because with extra magazines you'll have 1 CO2 cartridge for each magazine. The draw back to this gun however is that sometimes it will leak CO2. Now I don't know if this is a flaw of the gun or the brand of CO2 I decided to go with. I usually can get about 40-50 shots out of 1 CO2 cartridge before I experience a decline in the performance of the gun. (such as misfires)
The power of this gun is pretty good. I tested this gun on a aluminum pop can from 9-10 feet away. The bbs penetrated the can like it was paper and some shots were even a through and through. When I first fired the gun using the bbs that came with the gun, I thought the power of this gun was weak. But when I switched to Crosman .12 gram premium bbs, I saw a significant increase in performance.
The sights on this gun are pretty good from 12 feet away. Most of my shots are on target and I can usually get a tight shot grouping with proper trigger control. My rapid fires tend to be all over the place but if I stick to two shot double taps, I usually hit close to target.
The gun uses all metal construction. The weight and feel of this gun is very nice. Most of the weight seems to be in the magazine clip. The gun does have some plastic parts such as the trigger guard, the thumb safety and the tactical grip. I really like the grips on this gun. They feel very comfortable in my hands.
To adjust the hop-up you'll need to disassemble the slide assembly.(if you're wondering whether the hop-up can be adjusted)
For the most part I think this is a fairly good gun. However the occasional problems I keep experiencing with the CO2 cartridges leaking keep me from recommending this gun.
