(More customer reviews)First, just because this looks like other barrel covers does not mean it installs like them. Others use O-rings and 1 set screw (which equals a lot of shaking and need adjustment and just complete falling off.) This one uses 6 set screws, 3 per each end. While it does make install a bit of a pain, it actually makes centering the cover over your barrel extremely easy. Just unscrew each set screw till they are flush with the outside of the barrel cover, give each set screw 1 turn each, repeat till they are all evenly tightened. On my M16 14in. barrel for my A5, it took 2.5 turns per screw and it fits perfect. Leaves shy over 2 inches sticking out (space for the muzzle break and a front sight.) It's a perfect finishing piece to making you gun have the true MilSim look. I would actually recommend this barrel cover over many others. While with shipping its almost $30 and you could just buy a barrel with a M16 shroud already on it, it wouldn't be unique. Everyone does the M16/M4 look and its just over done. Also the MP5K look on an A5 is pretty over done as well. Go with this barrel cover and people will be impressed. Also the shipping was quick and packaged very well.
