After using this for airsoft I think I can say why I think the paintball usage is more heavily featured in advertising and promotion and makes me think airsoft was noted as an afterthought. While the product does indeed fit on an airsoft gun just as easily as a paintball one and it does exactly as it says, the convex mirrors are curved to such an extent that I found they could only really spot other targets very close up in a CQB style confrontation. Anyone farther than maybe 10' away from you appears as such a small speck on the mirrors they're almost impossible to see, and forget being able to have any kind of target recognition. If you are in a CQB facility these may be worth a try, but if you play on a field I can't recommend these. This item gets a 3 star rating because the mirrors are good quality, they come with two elastic bands, a carrying bag, and a book of strategies. However, their design, while it may be good for a narrow range of situations, limits their usage, and that's something the manufacturer never talks about much.
